I Think I Can, I Think I Can

He's trying so hard lately to sit up on his own. We got him a Bumbo and he thinks he's such a big boy when he sits in it. He wants to stand up even more and makes this face like he's trying to will himself into getting a few inches taller. It must be working because this babe is ginormous! He's already wearing 6-12 month clothes and is twice as big as his 5 month old friends.

Tickle Torture

I was changing Anthony's diaper this morning when my hand brushed his tummy. To my delight, he let out a big giggle. He just learned how to giggle a couple of days ago while Daddy entertained him. Scott has a brand new audience to appreciate all his jokes and I have a new victim to tickle torture. Honestly, I'm barely touching his skin but he does kinda sound tortured huh? Poor guy, this is just a taste of the giggle muscle cramps his parents have in store for him.

Our Favorite First

Scott and I have another first. Our first Baby has wiggled into our lives and he's more precious than we ever imagined. We are both completely in love with this boy. He is a happy, sweet, healthy, cuddly, and adorable little boy.

Scott's First...

Scott is experiencing a lot of firsts today. Today is the first day of his internship, the first day he has worn an outfit that cost upwards of $500, and the first time his wife was didn't roll her eyes at his chosen garb for a busy work day. (His normal preference being pajayjays). He looks SOOooo great in his new clothes. He was excited enough about his first day that he let me take a picture. This is also the first time he has said yes when asked for a photo op so you know he knows that you and I both know he knows he looks good. Hopefully you are following along even half as well as I am to my train of thought because I'm suffering from my first case of sleep blogging right now. To back that train up a bit, I think he had a great first day. I'm really excited for him to get this experience, he's gonna be awesome at it.

Road Warrior

This innocent looking mini van is a magnet for trouble. It has run over a mail box, crashed into a sand bank, been bumped, nicked, kissed, and nudged by every Walmart patron within it's gravity well, and T-Boned so violently while parked by an unmanned car that our insurance company declared it an act of God and we had to pay for the repair. Two weeks ago I was almost smashed into a cement barrier by a semi truck but only wound up with a black scuff mark on the rear bumper. I decided I would give everyone fair warning now. If you see this van and feel an undescribable urge to come closer be WARNED. You'll be running over but limping back and after you submit your insurance info, I'll drive away in this road warrior with another small battle wound.

Work Out Barbie

I'd like to introduce you to workout Barbie! Today, I joined the gym across the street from my work and started a new schedule. Scott drops me off at the gym at 5:30 AM when he goes to work and I work out for an hour. Then I take a shower and after my new and improved get ready time of 45 minutes, walk to work. Fingers crossed that this new schedule works.

Drum Roll Please...

The much awaited, much anticipated blog of the century!!!
So this isn't it but it looks like if I haven't already lost the interest of my blogging buddies I soon will. So hang on to your hats for the ultra condensed update of the last 3 months:
  1. I got straight A's last semester! (I'm still smiling about it three months later)
  2. Roof leaked... again
  3. Sued Landlord... kinda
  4. Bought a house and moved into it
  5. Got promoted at work... kinda(If I'm getting paid about the same and working twice as much is it a promotion?)
  6. Bought two tickets to Paris for a family vacaish with Seth and Lindsey (So EXCITED!!!)
  7. Have sky miles for two tickets to Disney Worlds for Family Reunion (Can't WAIT to see you guys, how long has it been? Two years?)
  8. Declared my intolerance for my lactose intolerance (Every day has been a Holiday since)
  9. Made a cake (Yeah, "big deal" says Britt and Jen but keep in mind this is the first cake I've made as a married woman) I literally got some Ooohs and Aaahs.
  10. Scott and I will hit the big 2 year mark in less than a month. And it's been just... peachy! In fact, I feel a "Praise to my Scott" blog coming on.
So it really would not be very entertaining to read about all ten of these things so if you wish for an explanation on any of these items leave a comment and the most popular comment will get it's own blog, with pics.
